Don't know if this is any help Pete, but Cheshire motorcycle salvage have clocks for a 1995 Trophy 900. I know a lot of the early ones shared some parts, but don't know if they're the same or not.

Hi Tim....struggling a bit. The problem with the trophy is that its faired with a different instrument cluster. The tacho and speedo pods may actually be the same units but the faces are black and mine is white. I'll give them a call today, thanks mate if I buy them you can have £10

surely though you could take em apart to swap the faces, boy racers are doing all the time on cars, and i think ive seen some on gixxers also

Tim...the units are sealed, thats part of the reason the tacho needs replaced. A previous owner has had a fault with tacho and opened it by prising up the rolled edge of the chrome clock ring all the way round, its mangled! Stumpy Dave...will try them on monday, cheers. Becoming slightly disillusioned with the whole parts procurement, Triumph seem to make it difficult to order parts from a shop other than a delership!? Ive ordered a few bits form my local shop...they have to call Triumph and describe the bit without a part no....the bit arrives...surprise its wrong. Shop say they cant get microfishe for triumph bits anymaore.

Was that at Manhattans, Pete? Had you ordered an air filter by any chance? I had the same problem, they'd ordered a filter for me, ended up with 2 different filters and one had the part number for a speedo cable or something!
They also have to provide the last 6 digits of the frame number to get parts from Triumph too!
Paul was cursing them. Said it's a right pain to order from Triumph and they're the only manufacturer to do it this way!

Now, if you were "Premier Members" you could access the parts books in PDF form from this site!
Then you could order by part # - I do, especially at my local Triumph dealer, the "Boss" loves it - it saves him time and eventually arguements!
