If Blizz is prepared to take this up and run with it, I'll do the artwork again and if we can get them sorted earlier we can have a better sales drive and hopefully sell more.

The figures just don't stack up on one for the short time I'll have it. And there aren't enough in the Toronto area yet as used bikes that make any sense. The only thing that would make sense is a Street Triple or a SP3 1050 because the BC dealers will bite my hand off for it when I get over there - The flaw in that plan though is that they are as short of stock on these bikes as the UK dealers are, and so getting one in time may have proven almost impossible. They are currently waiting for their 2009 allocation to arrive in October.

The Kwak is $4500/£2250 and I should easily get $3000/£1500 for it at the other end - they are very popular out there. I'd seen a 2001 bike for $3200 selling privately. That kind of drop makes it very do-able.

I'm sure I can get some pretty decent shots with a "bike" and some Triumph gear prominently displayed.

You can't say I didn't try though - I called the Factory a couple of days ago and within 30mins the Big Cheese from Triumph Canada was on the phone saying that he'd see what he could do locally. We had a really good chat, but even he said that even if he could get one of the local dealers to provide me with a bike at cost (he intimated that the factory could make it up in other ways) that the drop might be more than I would find comfortable.

Buying Privately will also save me a good few hundred $$/££'s in Tax alone.

I'm up for it. You just need to name a Sat/Sun (Sundays are best for me) and a place to meet.

If it ain't sheeting down (Unlikely I know) I'll be there.

PS: Cheers for the pic of the ex- helmet (post crusher). I was at a (very sad) funeral yesterday and it greeted me when I switched my phone back on

Still up for pics too Ade, I now have to work Scropton weekend so unfortunately won't make it. Why can't there be loads of social events on in January/Feb when I have f*/k all work on???!!!

Got my birthday this weekend so we're off fishing on a boat off Whitehaven in the wind, working the following one (not Sunday though) and then I'm driving my Mrs and the little man to CZ and leaving them there for 3 weeks with the outlaws before I fly back out to drive them home, so I have lots of evenings and weekend free then (mid 3 weeks in Aug) if you fancy some snapping.

I think the format Blizz wants to use involves 3 landscape photos per month so might be a good idea to bear that in mind when taking your shots.

Blizz I've not forgotten..........I just need a kick up the arse.

What about my question though? Do they have to be members bikes? What about pics of Triumph race bikes from Oulton Park?

If you've got some good pics of Triumphs Ade then let me have a copy.

I'm in Scotland at the moment so you can either e-mail them or bring them on a CD if you come to Scropton

I haven't got them onto my pc yet (hard drive full), never mind had them in photoshop, but there's some that look like they might be ok. There was a few 675s in the supersport race.

Ade, still looking at that glass for you. Out on a job all day tomorrow at Sellafield, (oh the glamour of being a photographer!) but I'll do some research when I get back.

Have sent them to the addy you gave at the top. There is quite a lot.Tried to sort out the first one to get rid of the stickers, but using just paint makes it a little difficult to get the shades right.
