well, i thought that as the yellow thing was coming out to play i would pop up to Skye and have lunch with me dad. So............got up at 7 this morning fuelled bike in Scone and set sail. Home at 8 tonight 456 miles later.............bloody frozen all day, yes the sun was up but once you got over 60-mph it was cold. Wet roads from Crieff to Crianlarich, thereon in dry roads but not too much sun. Came home via Dalwhinnie just to get home!! Got my lunch though!! Word of warning though, some of the roads have taken a hell of a battering over the winter. Some bits on Skye in particular have got corners which are all rutted, i had a couple of sphincter twitching events today i can tell you. Oh and it looks like snow at the weekend!

Yeah Bob but I remember Skye could have snow in the morning gales at lunch time rain in the afternoon and then brilliant sunshine all by 3 in the afternoon plus you could be reading a book outside at midnight! What a place
