Believe they've been working inside.

No signage or anything outside yet tho.

Was in Hein Gericke, this evening, which is next door.

They reckon opening has already been delayed, but are currently hoping for the end of March.

It's being run by Pure Triumph and is apparently going to be a set up as an example of how Triumph want their dealers to look, as the worldwide dealer conference is going to be based in Birmingham.

Tho that info is 2nd or 3rd hand, so its accuracy remains to be seen.

Well, Mr Blizz it's a long story. Following the delight of running into your goodself, it all went kind of pear shaped with my test rides! I was determined to ride the Tiger & S3 back to back to see if the practicalities of the Tiger would over-ride the fun factor of the S3. My Tiger is now up for sale, so the research was serious! First up was the Tiger, but declined the ride as it had been lowered for the benefit of those not so tall. To their credit, the offer to ride it as standard next weekend was made, once the workshop could restore it back to proper height. Onto the S3 and out in the pissing rain & gale with only 100 miles on the clock so nowhere near run in. Not great conditions to come to any conclusions - agreed to try again on a dry day once the demo bike is run in. I've had 3 new Trumpets now, one RS + 2 Tigers so luv that engine but am going to try out some other stuff this time around. Probably the KTM Adventure and the BMW 1200 GS. Still a fan of the Adventure style for long distance riding but the new Tiger isn't doing it for me

You might want to pop down to Speedaway down Halesowen They have got a Guzzi Stelvio on demo. Good bike. Quick and well finished. Whether Guzzi can provide the after sales that BM do..well, that remains to be seen.

Thanks for the suggestion c-b-a. Don't know much about the Moto Guzzi range, but I'll have a butchers. Won't be at Speedaway though - wrong forum to start discussing dealers, but, they used to be a Trumpet dealer a while ago and didn't exactly inspire confidence.
By the way c-b-a, what's your motivation????

On the subject of Speedaway, I believe they have KTM doing an open day, I think 26th April, so you can book a test on most of their range including the RC8. Not sure where you'd want to ride around there though.
I agree, when they had a Triumph franchise, I was less than impressed, but that was some time ago.

I took my t595 in for an MOT. Went in perfect, had to wait 1.5 hours as they had over booked, then came out with the engine management light on. After 2 hours arguing with them the tester admited that he had left the bike turen on but not running for nearly two hours. Turned out to be a burnt out coil/cap. Long time ago now, - but its the same bunch running it.

It seems good service in the bike trade is a misnomer. Especially in the midlands. It's a real pisser. The only ones who have been solid are Cradley Kwak, Clarks BMW and Streetbike. Loan bikes provided, work completed on time and at the price stated.
Lets hope this new Triumph shop lasts longer than a year and does the biz. The marque needs a good store.
