[edited]:

I think last year's RAID to the North of Spain was my swan song.
At least as far as being an event organiser is concerned. I organised a Spanish event for 7 consecutive years and have brilliant memories but now...

A growing business and small baby mean that I have precious little time for any other time-consuming commitments.

I'll probably even sell my Daytona 955 and just keep the TBS. although my mates want me to sell the TBS not the 955!

That said I'll probably do a weekend in the Pyrenees with a my local mates near the end of June.

Sometimes life just catches up on you...

Hasta luego!!

Thanks for the Raids you've done in the past I've been on a couple and enjoyed them very much.
The old RAT faces are getting fewer and fewer.
All the best in what ever you and your good lady do and I hope our paths cross some time in the future, make the most of your children they are not small for long and before you know it they will be nicking the bike from the garage..
All the best mate.
Keep the TBS, got all my bits from Mecatwin for mine, ta for the help with that as well.
I've posted some pics

Simon - Tiggr and I will be making our own way to San Llorenc de Morunys in July, arriving sometime pm on Saturday 5th July and staying for a week. Would be good to meet up again - even if you are a gooooner!

Thanks for the kind comments. The people that made the effort to come down made all the organisation time worthwhile.

Hi,
That's fine. I'd love to. That sort of outing I can do no problemo!
Great roads around there. Gimme a reminder nearer the date.

Simon,

I have some fantastic memories of (I think) 4 RAIDs organised by your good self. I think the UK T595 contingent may well return to Spain so hopefully we'll meet again, etc.

Good luck with the business, baby, etc. and regards to your lovely wife.

Oh, and keep the Daytona and get rid of the old man's bike

Or better still, keep both...

Your raids (and mr carters of course!) are the reason I kept a triumph for so many years - most of my mileage WAS the spain raids.

Much thanks for all your help - and mrs stooz says hi too. Hope to catch up sometime in Barcelona, or pop in if your flying into brum- always welcome.

Best wishes to you, Maria and the Baby.

Hi
Many thanks Stooz. The Club was also a reason for me to keep a Triumph. I'm grateful to all the help that Simon Carter gave me from behind the scenes. He did much more than people imagined.

I may do the NEC again this year so may give you a call!!
the sacrificing of the clanger was perhaps a warning of things to come - hands waving towards the sky etc.!!

I wonder what happened to Simon Carter and RAT he must have been got at from above as he was into making RAT equal or better than HOG.
Worked his socks to make sure raids were as good as they could be and always did a lot for me on the raids I organised.

Simon is as you may know is now the "Int Dealer Marketing Co-Ordinator" (according to the Triumph mag) within Triumph and that I presume means that as he has now moved upstairs there is now a certain amount of having to tow the Company line. I mean abolutely no disrespect by that as I got to know Simon (and Ben a year after) for the last five years and found him very supportive and enthusiastic about everything Triumph related as was Ben.

Bob I knew what happened to Simon it was more what happened to with him with regard to RAT.
He was editor when Torque changed from the club mag into what it's become now.
Not saying it was his fault most likely orders from the bean counters
