[edited]:

I have been working on POIs of Triumph dealers for the TomTom (I did UK ages ago but had a go at the French one as it was raised recently).
The POIs have the telephone number of the dealer embedded so if you are stuck abroad and you need the nearest Trumpy dealer
1) You can find him (barring any level crossings)
2) You can call him directly from your TomTom

good idea or waste of time?

Anyhoo ... if you have a TomTom and want to know how to call from it ... here's how

Select Mobile Phone

Press Call

Press Point of Interest

Select type (nearest to you or a specific location)

Select POI category (in this case Triumph FR)

Select POI (dealer)

Calling the dealer!

I think they would be useful to anyone touring ...

I was also thinking of putting them on ebay for a nominal fee just to make it worth my while putting the work in and to keep them up to date ... what do you think?

If someone can get away with 'selling' instructions on how to set kph then go for it (just remember to include international 'postage')

Well ... I have just listed them on Ebay to see if there is any interest.
Don't think I'll be able to retire on the back of 'em tho' , even if they sell like hotcakes...

Yes, even though Garmin is m ore popular, TomTom, despite their appalling customer service has a good installed base, and user forums here
