[edited]:

Fantastic weather and personal best times but still not fast enough.

Qualifying felt good and my times were 2 seconds a lap faster than I managed there last year, 1' 23.something giving me 15th on the grid.

Race 1 got a good start gaining 5 or 6 places but then lost most of them again, had a good race against a ZX10 Kawazaki (although what that was doing in a Sound of Thunder race I don't know). But I went on the grass at the last chicane and let him through...bugger.....Got stopped by the marshalls on the way back in....I'd forgotten to put my transponder on the bike..........so excluded from the results and no lap times.........what a twat !!

Race 2 was better, another good start and a battle with the ZX10 and a 660 KTM, got the better of them both by brutalising them at Bobby's chicane and stayed in front to the finish. Twelfth place and lap times that I was happy with although well off the pace. Quite pleased though as it's only the second time I've been there.

BIG thank you to Jayne and Nicola, my indispensible pit crew.... ta girls you was brill....
Next race Cadwell Park 29th and 30th of July.

Nice one Peter

Didn't get chance to come and say hello, but saw the 2nd race from the last chicane before Camp Corner. Not seen that before.
Looked like the exit could've done with being a bit wider on a couple of occassions.

Was suprised at how quick that KTM was. Glad you got the better of him in the end

Thanks Rob, yeah could have done with swapping bikes with the KTM dude for all my grass tracking excursions !!! What with that and my prediliction for going straight on at Edwina's at Mallory, I could end up in real bother !!

J-Man, no sorry mate, didn't get any mail.
