So DK are selling imported R3 for £8995 whereas Triumph dealers want £11995 for one

It makes you wonder how they can sell em so cheap

Are they coming from the US I wonder ?. You can buy a new one here for around $12500 (I've seen as low as 11k) or 6300ukp excluding sales tax, that perhaps they can avoid paying if its going to be exported ?.

Silly question.... If you buy a s\h bike abroad f'r instance an R3 from America.... would you have to pay vat or import duty on it.....? If so how much? Cos if you can get an R3 from America for £6,300 it may be worth doing

How much VAT/Import duty depends on the age of the bike, how long you've had it, how many miles, whether you bought it new or second hand, etc
