Did practice and first race OK. round the 1.10sec mark for the race, got beat by everything but as I was trying new tyres, new wheels and a new rear shock....

Second race lined up on grid for sighting lap, remeber starting off a dn then having to brake really hard because someone in front was suddenly in my way...then waking up in hospital.

Bashed about a bit and have a small bleed on the brain but generally not too bad considering. Appernatley someone was on new tyres and was weaving about a bit and causing everyone to back up ans laddo in front decided to warm up his brakes when I just decided to acelarate very hard. I nearley missed him but had already ost the front.

Fairing gone, clutch cover gone, clutch lever gone, and not allowed to drive for at least a week. Going to miss the next meeting I guess...

Bad luck Tony... sorry to hear about your injuries. Get well soon.

I was lucky in the weekends race. A bloke lost it in the first lefthander after the start, but I managed to get around him and finished 16.th out of 32 this time.
A superbike buddy lost it in a +200 kmh knee down left hander in his race...

Good news from the race track this weekend. I talked to the Danish agent, and he told me that The Polish manufacturer of the race bodywork for the 955i NS is working on it right now.

I've ordered 2 complete kits for my Tona, so now there's a chance I can get the Tona ready for a few endurance races this season.

Bad idea to buy one of mine... the Danish agent have made an exclusive deal so I can't order directly from the Polish bloke.... meaning I'll have to pay around £50 more than you if you order directly from Poland.

The parts are not listed yet... but they should be available any minute now.

Edit:

Not top quality, but it's cheap ... the mould is made from cracked JL parts.

Thanks guys improving very slowly, quack says it could take six weeks to get over fully! Feel like I'm pissed all the time at the minute (not the nice happy pissed, the next stage where you really get to feel crap) and not able to concentrate much. Will continue to take the tablets. may just be ok to get down to scroppers if they let me start driving again.

Tony

NS race fairings from Poland available now... got 2 sets last week. Still lousy finish, but at least they're cheap. Rear seat unit is for the OE seat.
Front fairing comes in 4 parts. 1 upper, 2 sides and one closed bottom.

IIRC the finish is better for the jap bikes.

I guess the Polish bloke had new race fairings when he made those moulds?? Labour is cheap in Poland, so it might be worth considering. You must know quite a few lads who needs replacement race fairings. The danish agent race a 675 in our rookie series, and usually his van is loaded with parts when we're away racing... I think it's pretty much paying his racing expenses.

There's a certain inevitability about isn't there? Need to get a lot faster yet though! At the moment if it started to slide, I could just step off of it!
