HI, I am looking for some info on tuneboy data logger. I am afraid i dont have a triumph, but a Benelli. I have tuneboy and can use it to do all i need to so far. I have fitted a Innovate lc-1 and gauge, but i need to use datalogger to make some accurate maps. I thought I needed extra files etc to be able to use datalogger. I have been emailing tuneboy, but have got no reply. Please if anyone can help assume i know nothing so give it to me in very simple terms !!!!!!! Hope to here from someone colin....

Are you talking about the built in logging of TuneEdit or using an external tool that uses the TuneBoy dll?

PS, what i want to do is see my normal TuneBoy or tune edit screen with the o2 from the innovate wideband serial out also on screen if that is possible ,plus be able to datalog so i have revs/throttle position/airfuel logged.

if you launch TuneEdit, in the properties you can select the serial port of the LC1. It will then log that data (and show it in running mode). So you can do what you ask. If the options aren't available to you; you need to download the latest exe from the site.

Thanks Homertrix, so do I need the lc-1 ON and connected to see what com port it is on in the drop down menu ? Please excuse my ignorance !! PS X-man, I thought about the lm-1 but i decided that it might be easier to see what the a/f is doing with the anologe gauge rather than the digi on the lm-1.

Yerrs LM-1 has full data logging built in and is a box rather than a guage. With appropriate connections will log afr/throttle etc.

For info, the Innovate lc-1 I have is a wideband controler,it controls a o2 sensor,I bought it with a G2 gauge that shows the air/fuel ratio. The lm-1 as x-man has is also a controler, but with data log built in and a digi display i believe. Thanks for advice I will test on garage computer, then set up on a laptop. cheers...

Hi again, from a 3cyl friend. I found v2.4 datalogger in my program list and just tried logging,it seems to work ok. I noticed that the throttle position reads 0 to 74% whereas the maps are 0 to 100%. Do I for example take a reading of 7.45 =10% on map or 14.9% =20% on map etc up to 74% = 100% on map ?? thanks.
