In the time I have closed inside during the winter months I spend a lot of time looking for vintage bikes and related information. I especially drool over all of the perfect bikes available in the UK. There are a coulple of dealers I am curious about and have considered buying from over there that aren't readily available over here. I am wondering if anyone can tell me about the following dealers and how they are to deal with. Their reputations as dealers is important because I'd be buying sight unseen so to speak and have it shipped overseas. Of course this purchase is a ways off due to buying the new 06 last fall, but I will own a mid 50's Triumph twin if it kill's me.

Up until a few years ago i used to visit classic bike dealers, jumbles, etc. As i had two T160`s myself.I have to say i`ve rarely been impressed with many. The money they ask for real wrecks is unbelieveable.get a good reliable contact over here to buy for you privately. That said i can make enquiries ref
Cotswold classics as they`re near me.

Generally expensive!!!

You may be better off getting one from "Your Side" - as that's where a lot of them for sale here have come from! (Cheaper)

Parts shouldn't be a problem though!

Over here in the last few years, finding a nice example of a bike I may want is really no cheaper. I think ebay has made all americans think everything they have is gold even if it is crap. I frequently look at Verralls site and the small inventory they have is priced similarly to here, only the bikes actually look really nice for their asking price.
