just see bit's falling off Stoners Ducati? .Maybe Ducati have a built quality issue?.Will they recall the GP08 bikes? incoming.... ..

Nah, didn't fall off. The wiring held it, till he could grab hold and jam it back under the fairing. That's character, that is.

What was it that came off? Steve Parish thought it might be the ECU or the traction control.

I thought it was one of the stickers on the inside of his faring- left side says "clutch" and the right side says "brake"

Apparently not.............. http://www.crash.net/moto.....mera_fault.html "Sometimes the piece would lock the steering and sometimes it locked the clutch lever. It was a very difficult situation but eventually I worked out a way to ride around it. Every time I came down the straight I pushed it back into place but the turbulence from the wind would blow it back out again so it was very frustrating.

Why didn't he just rip it off? Once when moped racing a marshal came up to me after practice and happily announced "You're not going to win tomorrow?" "Why not?" I enquired. "cos your transponder fell off and I've got it in my van"

as it was just camera equipment I think I would have just ripped it out and got on with it.
