Forgot the Welsh raid is on this weekend. Me an the missus are in Wales for a long weekend, hoping to get up Snowdon if the rain holds off. Be good to see a lot of Triumphs on the road.

I am leaving for the raid tomorrow ( I know it is a day early) as I am off this week, so I have booked in an extra night at Ruthin Castle (corporate rate which is what we are paying for the two nights).

I didn't do it but a couple of mates parked up down the road crept back and gaffa taped the doors up on a camara van. The bloke inside never had a clue until they waved to him and he tried to get out the van. He might still be there any one seen a skeleton in a silver van at Mary Tavy.

That was us around a 100 plus bikes stayed at Ruthin excellent riding and company I hope you saw all the North Wales tax collecting machines before they saw you we counted 3 on the route, bastards all hidden behind hedges and alike so they could video twin lane dead straight 40 mph areas set up for the soul purpose of raising money certainly nothing to do with road safety. Bunstrom is so low he could crawl under a snake with a top hat on. Hope you enjoyed your weekend, we did ours, but it could have done with being a little warmer, great weekend. Wood's did us proud.

Yes it was as you said nice to put a face to a name. Just a little bit wet on the way home, the rain did not stop until Hereford for me as I had left by 9am. I do agree with you that it was a very good event that Bill and the team had put a great deal of effort into and yes thank god for heated grips.
