Any of the Midlands Massive fancy a rideout to Welsh Wales sometime this weekend? Presuming the weather isn't totally shitty?

Hi Kitty! Looking at the weather forecast, Tiggr and I have settled for a Saturday ride if you're up for ut. We were going to get up to the "food stop" bikers cafe at Quatford just south of Bridgnorth for sometime around 8.30am have a bacon buttie and all that and then head off West for the morning.

You still interested?

cheers

I know what you mean! That bit of a winter lay off and then wearing the all weather gear once the ice and snow has gone and hey presto - come spring - all my leathers have shrunk!

OK - if you're interested Riggsy, and if you can still make it Kitty, we'll meet up at the Food Stop Cafe at Quatford on SUNDAY morning, with a view to pushing off sometime around 8.30 - 8.45 It opens at 0800 so that should be time for a bite and a cuppa if Riggsy needs it.

Route is; Bridgnorth, Craven Arms, Newtown, Crossgates - and we'll take it from there. Might be getting towards lunchtime by then and there's a good pub carvery in Rhayader.

Kitty & Riggs, I'll Email you my moby number and hope to see you Sunday morning!

Yes, and it was worth it!

Lovely ride out. Weather wasn't as good as expected - in fact it got more cloudy as the day went. But that Road from Newtown to Crossgates just drains you its so demanding!

Tiggr and I were out for 5 and a half hours in all including tea breaks and stopping off at Tims for a chat.

btw - he's a lot uglier in the flesh than in his album pics.

I need to get my arse into gear.
I need tyres, and have an MOT coming but nearly all my spare time is taken up with:

a) Rebuilding No2 son's car
b) Rugby
c) Being a right lazy Bastard

And thats before the "house" jobs I've got to get done this summer, Fit a complete new Bathroom, starting with new floors and re-plastering all the walls. Plus a new C/H Boiler (Though a Mate of a Mate is doing that, I just do the grunt work)

And the main job for this year - The infamous loft conversion is being put back to next year, too many unforseen expenses
