well they arrived today took about a hour and a half to fit but they will take a lot longer to set up cos they adjust in so many ways they look good and are very well made but they should be for what they cost and i got them trade less a bit more

Hey Fozz,
What height riser did you go for with the Gilles? I'm thinking of some for my T595 which can have 60 or 70mm risers I believe.
Also did you have to change any cabling/brakelines etc?

cheers

Fozz - were they easy to fit (i'm not all that good with a spanner)?

By the way, looking through you pics I noticed the Tank album, so you were the other one! Saw them live supporting Motorhead - bugger me they were LOUD.

hi aimer
yes them were the dayz....I SAID, THEM WERE THE ....never mind...
they took about an hour to fit and about a week to get sorted as they are vario they are infinatly adjustable.. the hardest bit was removing the top yolk to slide but ,and this is important if you lift the front end up NOT using a paddock stand, just a block of wood and a jack, just enough to take the weight off the front wheel it will tap off with a rubber mallet i went for the 70mm rise and they are fantastic, they still look the part and you will get most of your money back when you sell the bike on by but, more importantly you wont need to sell the bike cos its so comfy
