I was looking at the thread on R3 and in the us the r7 standard sells for $15000 http://triumph.i-90motors.....&Category=1 Given the strength of the pound against the dollar 15,000.00 US dollars = 7,356.55 British pounds sterling That includes shipping to the US and the dealers profit. I was wondering on how much it would cost to re import and convert, register etc. (thats why DK sell them cheap). SLR

I "imported" my S3 from Canada! (Personal Import) - so not liable to "Duty or VAT" as I had been out of the Country 2+ years and owned the bike for 2 years, and covered over 6K miles (10K kilometers) Remember, you would have to add "Import Duty & VAT" if you imported one whilst resident of the UK + VOSA SVA test at about £90!! And, all the relevant parts to get it through the SVA test ~(If required?)
