Just listening to 5Live and the reports of the riots in Mankchester last night and I am stunned.
It is beyond belief that people are trying to blame the riots on the failure of a big screen TV and are almost blaming the organisers
If my TV failed during the Rugby World Cup would I go out and kick my neighbour's head in ....well, OK, that's not a good example as I don't really need an excuse to want to do that.
No, seriously, it's completely unacceptable and beyond belief that anyone would seek to justify rioting on the failure of a TV....I mean, get a grip FFS

On the radio this morning it said they also ran out of Fuel on the M6 at Burton Trent services last night due to the large numbers of supporters returning home creating an unexpected demand. Pity they couldnlt have taken the rest of their mates with them..

Just to put it in perspective out of 150,000 jock fans all enjoying a drink or three maybe a couple of hundred were intent on causing trouble.... the usual bad apples turn up and every football fan in the land gets tarrred with the same brush.

Most Rugby supporters are working class guys that probably played at school, as I did.

As a consequence of this they've succeeded in Manchester Council having to ban live TV on the big screen and any kind of home coming ceremony for their own City's team and I don't suppose Glasgow are going to foot the bill either.

we much prefer cricket.
at sussex vs yorkshire last year, there was one very loud (is there any other type? ) yorkshireman who took to singing  oh it's all gone quiet over there every time a sussex batsman was out. when yorkshire batted & lost a batsman,the entire section of our crowd sang it back at him
never is there any sign of trouble, yet beer is easily obtainable. they even have beer sellers that wander through the crowd dispensing beer from backpacks. you don't even need to go to the bar!
