I was ..................
The bike went into the garage for a new chain and sprockets but when I called to see if it was ready this afternoon, I got told that she had a "collapsed rear end". Needless to say its still there awaiting repair.
It was a non refundable ticket to Larne too

What parts exactly???

Collapsed rear end??? Surely just bearings and a sleeve?? All readily available from Brammer BSL/Triumph!

It was an axl assembly, a concentric assembly and a washer. All £460 worth......

When I called on Thursday to see what was going on I got "Oh we were trying to call you. The bikes fixed but it cant be road tested as the chain guard is broken. Do you want us to order a new one".

Feck me. It only went in for a new chain and sprocket.

Ah, I see. I was assuming something suspension related...

You must be sweating about putting the bike in for a major service!!!

Sweating ...... never slept for 3 days

The next service is only 3k away. I think its safe to say it wont be going back to the dealers again.
