Out for a good blast today and there are a couple of fast humps on the road I know well. Usually its the front wheel in the air and off again to the next bend. As I "landed" the whole bike got a shimmy on and caught me out a bit. Anyway opened the throttle and it was ok but not a usual trait of the bike. Suggestions??

Try sitting on the seat instead of standing on the seat...

Try firming things up a bit. I'm talking suspension! Assuming everything is on standard settings you could try a couple of clicks more of comp. damping.

I'd expect that sort of thing from any sports bike unless you land it dead straight. Should've seen the head shakes Barney's R1 used to give if he landed a big wheelie not quite straight. Enough to push the pistons right back into the front calipers so he had no brakes for the next bend...

Hard to diagnose from you post Flash. It takes real bollocks to put the power to the back wheel when the front's playing up like that, But It can work . Good on you fella A steering damper may help but if I was you just try to keep the front on the tarmac, You're obviously not skilled enough

I obviously ain't working then Duh..... Put a few click on it and try again. Riggsy's standard disclaimer does apply here: "I have no expertise in these things so on your own head (or arse) be it"

stop your arse tweaking and the front wheel will behave like its on rails. alternatively, just dont let the front wheel touch the floor at all
