I posted the link because back in 2005, when there was a lively thread about screens for the 1050, I emailed the company to ask if they had any plans to produce one (they do them for the earlier models).

Leo, the guy who runs the company, responded immediately saying that no, he didn't have any plans to do so just yet, but would let me know when he did.

I had completely forgotten about it until I received an email from him yesterday telling me about the above.

Even if I wasn't getting a different make of bike the screen would be of no interest to me as I don't like the way it looks (and I don't have the gayboy flyscreen anyway ), but I was impressed with the level of customer-focused service.

How many companies keep email requests on file for over two years?

Not many, I bet.

And how many bother their sorry arses to reply to them after more than two years?

Well, so far, in my life, just one.

While the screen may not be pretty, I was pretty impressed...

Methinks bike screen manufacturers should demonstrate what protection their model affords a rider by recording a real or computer simulated smoke and wind test. The prospective purchaser would therefore be able to make a more informed choice
