The pics are finalised so you now need to order it from here. http://www.t595.net/shop/.....ed=0&id=491 Currently there haven't been enough pre-orders to warrant the cost of printing. You don't have to take your socks off to count the current orders.

CLIC this year couldn't cash the cheques in time (they had them for about 3mths, which meant the cheque time limit passed), they also didn't really send a thank you. So thought a change is in order. I think a donation of £50 per sponsored month for Gt Ormand St would be a fair value?

It was supposed to be £25 iirc last year. Costs IRO £500 for printing; so donating near the same as sponsorship to the charity (I think) is fair (on top of sales). If I was asking people to pay me towards the cost of printing, I'd probably agree with you.

Homer......Funny you should mention that about the cheques. A few years ago I purchased a Barry Sheene picture and sent them a cheque(clic) which was never cashed. I tried to contact them without a response. Very strange..................

Damn and blast all I get is: Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage :
| It happens a lot from my computer I'm wondering if I have a trojan. Not to worry if I can't order in the next couple of days I should be able to order it from work on Friday night. Right then, it seems that I cannot use this link: £10 is donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital for each calendar sold through T595net!:
| So if I order from the direct thingmybob to the right of it, am I ordering the 2008 jobbie?

at the risk of sounding (more) boring, shouldnt this have all been researched up-front ? The price was virtually double last years, so that must have helped ?

Also getting people to order it shouldn't have been a problem. If everyone who sent in a picture had ordered one then there would have been 40 sold ages ago and not less that 10

Blizz ..: The calendar is the same price as last year. | Nope .... I'm possibly wrong about it being double last years price, but it wanst £15.95 in 2006* ! anyway, thats not the point .... my question was about researching the metrics before taking it to this point .... I thought it had been looked at which is why I paid upfront back in June .... but it seems not. *Trip the Elder Email: speedtrip@t595.net Date: 24 Nov 2006 Sales Ref: 1002038 Payment Ref: 207815769 Product Price Qty Total T595net T595net Charity Calendar £12.95 1 £12.95

stooz: I am working with a graphic designer now, so will tap him up for a cool layout and design, and he can tweak image quality too. Not to be rude to martin too, but Ive been throwing loads of work at a local printer too, and he might do the lot for feck all, so I will try and squeeze him. | No effort from me this year ST, just a small donation to the Northern Lads page.

after starting this thread the orders have gone up to 30 now ST - the price is still 12.95 (P&P adds £3.00 to that though) After starting the original thread back in June to give every one plenty of visibility of the calendar than I would have expected more than the 8 orders that were made before last week

£50 a month get your logo or name on Tazzers Trendy Testacle Trimmers UK Ltd etc BlizzyMcTavish Northern Lads & Lasses will most certainly pay up for one month and we hope to be heading for a second one too. Dont mind doubling up on a page with A. N. Others if spacegets short when you get swamped by rich Southern plc's wanting to advertise heron deterrents and gay dockyard electrical components

To answer ST's question about price; the premier price is £12.95. From that, you easily lose 5% on tx fees, and you have to take VAT off. This leaves £10 (give or take a few pence) for the charity. This hasn't changed since last year, nor the year before IIRC. Now, it costs about £500 to print the calendars. So, to make it worthwhile, at least 50 have to be sold - otherwise I might as well just write the cheque for £500 to the charity rather than pay for calendar printing, package them all up and spend a couple of hours in the post office posting them. On average, year on year, we usually sell 50-75. So far 33 have been ordered. The sponsorship is to top up the donation to the charity rather than cover the cost of printing. Its basically a bonus. Blizz, you'll need to add Tuneboy to one of the months - I have new logos in EPS format for you to use.

Good point Maybe an advert on the homepage as well or a banner ad across the top so it's visible ALL the time????? It amazes me that there must be many 100s who regularly use the site yet we stuggle to sell 50 calendars for charity

I wish you all the success in the world. A great charity to donate to, but at 12.95, that's an awful lot for a calendar. PS, if this had been earlier, then I may jst have been able to speak nicely to my MD, who also rides a Sprint ST.

I prefer the second one but I would put the month to the left rather than centered then the year '2008' to the right to square the design up. Not being funny but I could do with a decision then I can get on with setting it up. Have you got all your sponsors sorted and which month they go on?

Sorry for messing you about re the design I agree with your comments. Means re-doing it a bit as it's got 3 pics per month. As for sponsors, this is what we have at the moment jazz wanted May chizz would do two months (one month where his pic is + one other) red baron 1 month, no preference Northern lads have gathered enough to have 2 months, no preference

I like the layout of the pictures in the second one best. But the calender section of the first one is more usable for putting in notes.

OK guys, no pressure but I really need to get confirmation on a design. Photo Album Image • keep it simple ie don’t try and fit 3 pics were 2 will do • calendar is usable for writing notes ie birthdays etc • using 2 pics still leaves a reasonble amount of space for sponsors • that’s it - see first bullet point....keep it simple
