I seem to remember how to download pictures to my album, but most are just too big. How the hell do you lower the resolution or re size them to fit? I find the camera as complicated as the computer, so plain and simple would be appreciated! Computer is Windows XP if that's relevant Thanks in advance from someone who still measures in imperial.

how big are they then ??? The site seems to do some sort of resizing anyway ... If you want to tinker with bigguns, there are resizing sites - or your camera will have a menu where you can chose the standard size ... http://www.shrinkpictures.com/

You are right but the missus had turned the resolution up on the camera (how is a mystery )and the pics were all just over 2MB.

Photoshop will resize, to any scale you want. I'd assume other photo software will aswell

Rob, my missus uses Photoshop on this computer- it's just I'm a little clueless- and she was away at work. Homer, that will simplify things, cheers.

Might not be needed now, with a 4MB max. Drop down menu on photoshop, use the "save for web" option.

Baldbloke - real simple thing with XP is to email yourself the picture and it offers you option to "make my picture smaller". 2.5 Mb goes to 60k for me with only small loss in resolution
