My bike didn't have one of these in the toolkit and i've been using the one from my 1972 500/4... but it's just too short to use easily.

Where best to get one?

Will the "T-bar" type spanners fit?

I hear that the Triumph head requires a thin spanner and that standard 10mm versions will not go all the way down (?)

I had the same problem on my America, which I solved by having the socket turned down on a lathe. It didn't take much but it makes all the difference.
