Speed Triple (05->)

I really fancy trading in my Speed Trifle for a R3, but I just don't like that cruiser riding position. Is there a kit available that would bring the footrests back to a position that you might find on a naked bike or a streetfighter? I feel like I want to be sitting and leaning slightly forwards into the breeze, with my feet under me, rather than right out in front. Surely I'm not in a minority of one here. Or am I....

I'm sure something could be fabricated but am not aware of a 'kit' being currently avaialable

Raask makes rear sets for the Rocket. www.raask.se Inline Image I also went from an S3 to R3. Good bike to transition from sporty to cruiser.

Was at the Triumph Tridays thing in Neukirchen at the weekend and there were stacks of R3s there. Just happened to observe that many were sporting rearsets of a similar design, so there's something out there. The Germans seem to go mad for R3s; there were loads. Maybe there's a German mfr? The gear linkage rod was about 24" long, mind. HTH John

Apparently the R3 classic has footboards instead of forward mounted peg positions making it more like a standard riding positon, Try the classic if you think the standard foot forwards are not for you....

Zard is about the most expensive way to lose HP on a Rocket.
