It may have been a bargain but I don't believe a '99 is 1/2" - still a 14mm (Look on the cylinder - it should have 1/2 or 14 molded on the casting) 91-96 are the 1/2" items that are form/fit replacement but 1/2" instead of OEM Triumph 14mm. . I don't understand what you are saying about the 'fill' - the mod involves using a 1/2" instead of 14mm master which increases the pressure proportional to the smaller piston area & resultant force on the caliper pistons for same applied force at pedal - nothing to do with 'fill'.

trevski: that'll be 'feel' dude | Ahh! Still thinking that cylinder is not a 1/2" so the 'effect' may be placebo!

D'Ecosse: ....I don't believe a '99 is 1/2" - still a 14mm... | Here's a 99 on EBay - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Kaw.....VQQcmdZViewItem You can clearly see the 14 stamped on the body. (that was just for reference - please don't anyone buy this! )

Should be identical to your original PETER as far as the performance goes - 14mm = 14mm so no change. (assuming your OEM was operating as designed - i.e. good seal & bleed). To increase the braking force, you need the 1/2" unit from 91-96 750's.

Actually J, K & M series all are same part too. (Do a cross reference on Bike Bandit & you'll see that) Easier just to recognize the years 91-96 and leave it at that - & to validate, look for the 1/2 symbol rather than the 14 to be sure in case the lister posts up incorrect year/model.
