I have just seen the drawings of the casting for a new Triumph engine ... the one that has been rumoured for a while.

Parallel twin ... looks like the timing gubbins is sited between the cylinders so the engine will (should ) look fairly clean and symmetrical. (be a bastard to work on?)
There are cooling fin details on the barrel casing to give that aircooled look
Big pistons ... probably RIII giving capacity of approx 1500cc
Difficult to tell but the final drive appears to be on the right hand side...
