Speed Triple 955i (02-04)
13 Apr 2008 01:08 |
........you just got to admit you got it wrong. Having owned 3 triples in the past i was convinced the Speed Triple was for me, how wrong i was. Having done just over 900 miles since purchase i have realised that i cannot get comfy on the bike and that the windblast just annoys me. I tried to slow down but failed miserably. Result, back to Stewart at Perth motorcyles for a swap to a Kawasaki ZX 636 2005 model. Well past me 30 day money back gaurantee time but they have given me back my money minus the admin fee, so musn't grumble. Loads of goodies up for grabs if anyone is interested and hopefully i can still join in with you guys and gals at any meets in the future.

Last time we met Gus i had the RS Sprint, which went in the end after a lot of small niggly faults that bloody annoyed me. i tried the Sprint ST 2001 model but found it too big and heavy for my everyday use. Tigger faaaaaar too big for me wee legs and not my cup'o tea to be honest. If i had the money i would keep the Triple just for the looks alone but i have a few other bikes in the garage and the Triple would have been rarely used. In a few years time i will definately get another Triple but only when i can afford to keep a bike i would hardly use. This weekend would be braw Davy, give me a bell on 551058 and we could catch a cuppa or go for a wee spin.
