Hi Homer, a call for help from Stubs - he cant activate his (old) account.

StuBs:
There is a screen for validating new email addresses and stuff but I've been trying for about 10 days now with no response

He seems to have setup a new one on the 18th, but any help would be appreciated.

Hiya mate,

Herefordshire is soooooo last year!

Basically I disappeared up my own jacksy for the last 15 months or so working ridiculous hours (70+ per week), flying away all over the place solving other people's problems etc. etc.

Anyway, my efforts didn't go unnoticed and I wangled a promotion, this also meant I was over qualified for the job I had on the Welsh borders. The firm found a job for me in Westphalia - Germany and we were all geared up for the move and while on holiday in S. France I got a call from the head honcho saying that he'd overlooked a post in Cyprus and it was mine if I wanted it...

6 weeks later I was smothered in Ambre Solaire and leaving on a jet plane!!!

Wife and brat are most impressed with the surroundings and looking at the weather in Germany we definitely made the right move.

Only shitty element to the whole situation is that I had to chop away the bike and the car. I got £3300 for the Daytona with 18k on the clock which I think is pretty fair for an '03... Less said about the car the better, plenty of test pilots and cheeky offers trying to take advantage of my situation. Eventually it was sold within the family and will no doubt be available back to us when we return in 2010.

I walk the buffer zone quite regularly funnily enough, I'll keep my eyes open for the Bonnie. My brother got into the VW dealership a few years back and found Beetles and Campers still with price tags and plastic seat covers - surreal.

I'm in the UK next week, if I end up staying near the Mudlands I'll give you a bell.
