Stateside, looking for a T150 cylinder in decent shape, not on it's last oversize. One of my Tridents is in need. Does anyone know where I can find a decent replacement cylinder? Thanks, TE

Haven't had much luck with the forum you speak of and it apprears I'll have to check into resleeving the cylinders. I have a lead, but it's a big bore kit, but hey I have two of these triples why not experiment with one of them by making it an 880cc monster. If I had the money I'd go to triple cycles and spring for one of his nice new cylinders, but as you say very pricey and I just can't swing it.

Try http://www.normanhyde.co.uk/ They have cylinder liners for 750cc (#TP108) at £47.03 each! (£141.09 +)

That's OK - good job my "Parts memory" works!! Too many years with old bikes, though mine are Italian - crap for parts availability!!

Over here the parts availability for the Italians is horrible. Thats why I gave up the Duc 750 before restoring it. The 250 is also horrible, it only gets ridden once or twice a year and sits in the house. Gilera's are just as bad. I imagine the MV's are worse that mine though. I've also passed on several Laverda's because of the parts.

Yes they are - though the Club bought all the spares from the dealers when they stopped production in 1978! But 29 years on, they are getting scarce, though, as most Italian Manufacturers used the same "Parts Book" (Marzocchi, Ceriani,CEV, Aprilia etc) - you can mix & match if you know what the part is!! And, Members of the Club go to the "Autojumbles" in Italy to replenish the "Stock" I'm only stuck for a rear wiring loom to finish mine, and perhaps an electronic ignition kit (Magni does them) - so perhaps the loom will have to be made??? I must admit though - looking around the web, Ducati parts don't seem too bad, and there are people that specialise in the singles! Laverda's the same - I have mates with both, as I'm an IMOCGB member!

Well there is a guy in Williston Tn with a Triumph shop, kinda. His name is Stretch, he is from OZ if I recall. Problem is I don't have his number off hand, I will look for it though. He has tons of parts NOS and original. Builds bikes and has quite a few gathering dust. He has a bit of a dodgy reputation but just to buy a part from would be ok I think. You might call the chamber of commerce for Williston Tn to get his number. He might have been called Union Jack Motorcycles. Good luck........
