Can anyone help!!!!! My 98 T595 has developed a bad miss fire as it reached 6000 rpm the other day, might be coincidence but it happened as i went over cats eyes with the throttle wide open chasing a TL 1000. Needless to say the buggar got away, but only this time. It sounds like hitting a rev limiter when you rev it, if done slowly it can pass 6000rpm but not too much. Cleaned out the injector rail, fuel filter, checked the output on the regulator, changed plugs, checked plug caps and coil packs all seem to be ok but still doing it, oh and checked/cleaned the connectors on the ECU. The ECU is all i can think of now, had to walk away from it last night after spending about 11hrs on it i was going a bit do lally. Has anyone had this problem???? Has anyone got any ideas???? thought i had all my bad luck the other week when the altarnator shaft bolt came loose and sheered off, luckily no damage, just replaced the bolt and twas fine, well thought so. hope no one is having a worse time than me, Take it easy Rob

Not really the best place to post this to get an answer if I was you I would copy and paste it in either. Problem Solving or The Hinckley Arms. Sorry you've done all the things I'd suggest unless its a coil breaking down under load.
