im a about to buy a new rear tire for my 98 t595
i actually have a 190-50-17. anybody tried to put a bigger tire on the same rims??

You can get a 200-50-17 but you may have a problem with it rubbing on swing arm and difficulty fitting a hugger?,It's all down to personal taste,I had a 190 on my t595.A bike tyre fitter once told me"If a bike maker fits a specific tyre size it's bikes it is for a reason and if it needed a bigger one it would come out the factory with a bigger one on it.(that was just his opinion)

If your thinking it'll look fatter, think again. I put a 200 0n my rim and it looks exactly the same. Others have said it affects the handling, I found no noticable difference. And no, it won't rub on anything. Personally i wouldn't bother as you can a good 190 on ebay for £55.
