Tis the championship I race in dsesn't mean I like it... Other dates will be posted up as we decide where we are going...there is a possibility that we will do a Brands Hatch round with someone this year subject to finances.

Darley Moor
I've always enjoyed Darley Moor as a spectator. You couldn't get any closer to the action without going through scrutineering yourself. Wonderful grass roots sport, long may it remain unchanged (apart from the parking area, anyone for pot holing)

OK, so much for racing then! Pah, got punted off at the hairpin when pillock head on an R1 decided he want ed my bit of tarmac and ran into my back wheel whilst I was banked over. Arse meet ground (got a lovely bruise on my hip). Teh just to rub it in he decided to run into me and rip my leathers with his footpeg; thankfully they are not quite as 'tight' as they used to be Anyway, scuffed fairing and broken brake lever but worst of all broken throttle (never ever try to ride fast with too much play in the cable) so end of day. Turned out allright though cos it PISSED it down with hail much of the day. Bank Holiday Monday is my next try. All welcome. maybe I'll stay on this ime.

Hard luck Tony Best wishes for the next round, keep flying the flag and make sure you stay away from the egos. On a brighter note, at least until the moment of contact the R1 puff was behind you, which means you were obviously ahead of him even though you had a power/weight disadvantage.* ( * This is not a fattist remark )

Dint do no good Riggsy but thanks anyway. Deja Vu anyone? Managed to stay on in qualifying and then binned at the hairpin AGAIN. Exhaust dragged on ground, I opened throttle- guess what happened next. Ah well more money to spend then...

Nah, all my own work this time. BUT i have to say that the new engine is STORMING. Catching a 996SPS on the straights. Pity they did not develop it a bit more with regard to the head but no matter a 1050 or 1150 triple will be monstorous if they bring it out to the same state of tune. Bring it on, and if it has the same mounting points woohoo I may just splash out for a new one.

You'll be pleased to know that I resisted a kebab last night. I did a "special Curry with egg fried rice" from the chinky instead Well, I had to ride past the chinky to get to the Kebab House..... What did you expect to happen

Whheeeeeee. WEll it pissed it down and then it really pissed it down. Standing water on the track in places just very wet for the rest. Practice: I put my shiny new wets on and scrubbed them in on a absolutely soaking track and stayedon. First race: had a dice with an Aprilla and an R1 and came off worst but I finished and got two points for coming 5th (out of sisx). Second race: Went two seconds a lap faster but lost the tow with my group and ended up having a bimble round on my own. I finihed 5th again (out of 5) and got another two points. Overall I started to get a bit of confidence back. and had a good time despite the atrocious weather.
