Anyone had bike nicked with one fitted? Did it work? Expereince with police using it? Contemplating one for a Sprint along with the much priased almax chain. Thanks.

Just seen a similar device advertised, where you can do the tracking yourself. Seems a better idea than leaving it to the cops. ...unfortunately can't remember where I saw the ad.

We use Tracker on our construction plant, which, as you can imagine, regularly gets "borrowed", to be honest we have mixed results. Tracker will not activate the ubit untill they get a crime reference number, by then the item could be in a steel shipping container! I have had very good service from a company called MTrack, their unit is a GPS based system (I believe), they have an out of hours switchboard, the unit is set to "wake up" and send a signal whenever you dictate, but will permantly wake up, if someone tries to remove it, then you are sent a text message to call them, the delay is never more than seconds!
