After many years on japanese sports bikes I have recently bought an 08 ST and love it but I still miss the meatier sound of the aftermarket pipes available on the jap bikes. Trident have one for the bike (quite pricey @ £399) it removes the pipe cat and looks better on their website than the OE version. Before I take the plunge has anyone any experience of one and any views?

Trident have said that the dealer can download the off road map to suit it and they can ship it direct to the dealer for them to fit it.Youles are the nearest dealer any views on them? Need a hugger as well so could get them to do it all at same time. Then its on to suspension and hopefully finished. Any ideas on someone to deal with suspension set up in Yorkshire/lancashire?Front end is especially soft and I know that there's no aftermarket rear shock so a bit of work is needed.

I might just take you up on that Custardracer, good yorkshire tea of course LOL.Anyone your way deal with the suspension that you can recommend? A few places say they can help with set up but I would rather hear from someone with experience of a specialist place. Cheers Knackers I might have to start there depending on cost.

Don't worry mate - Yorkshire born & bred me!(well, Redcar anyway)

No local suspension specialists that I know of - but these guys are very highly rated & not too far from here.
