Tried and failed. They go up to a 42 in the current range. I'm working on getting there

On Sat I tried a pair of Triumph leather leggings on. I thought size 34 would be reasonable as I'm about size 33. Jeeez I could hardly breath...and what it did to me apricots I can't begin to describe. I reckon I needed a 36 in Triumph sizing. Is this normal or was Saturday a particular low pressure day ?

They "undersize" so as to make Bosun seem smaller than he is. And their sizes are rather small anyway.

I have the trumpy troos in size 40 and they are tight as a bastard on me. Used to fit tight, but now they are really uncomfortable. When I got 'em I was about a 36 or 37 inch waist in every othr pair of trousers, and now am....a bit bigger. Dave, if I were you, I'd forget about the Triumph keks coz they just aren't big enough, and look more at Fran Thomas or similar as their sizing is more realistic.

sizing is more realistic.
This sounds dangerously like the chatter of women who complain about dress sizes: "I don't know what's got into (insert any shop you care to mention here): They've made their sizes smaller" Actually missus....

A little known fact is leather shrinks if left in a dark wardrobe for any length of time. I had to "upgrade" my leather jeans 2 years ago cos of this

I had the misfortune of having to use the FIRST popper on my leathers this week, you know, the one you use BEFORE the SECOND one whch is used after winter.
