After last year's figures, and the fact that I still have half a box of calanders left; how the calendar will be facilitated this year is up in the air at the moment.

Bought 75; 25 went to Action (I think 1 was sold), 30 odd through the site. Money to CLIC was still not bad (£735); but only because I put in £500 donation (equivalent to 50 calendars, which was the budget from the site) rather than just donating based on actual sold. So, out of the 75 printed; less than 40 were sold.

Shame really, as this year's calendar was really nice.

What were the sales for the 06 calendar ?

Was there a big difference when they went on sale ?

Blimey - you shoulda said, no need for you / the site to take that hit personally.

I have vague recollections of a push, but no way would i have thought it was that bad !

If you want support Stu - just ask !

I agree Homer.

So to protect you, this year lets get organised early.

Like I said earlier, As long as the price is known beforehand (with say a 10% tolerance) then I'll order one "blind"

I enjoy forcing the lads at work into using it
(as we are no longer allowed nakid females)

If it's set up earlier we can show what the finished calendar is going to look like which will help to sell it a lot.

I'm already hurt, and Narna's permanently high, so no worries either way, Malblade.

We'll both need to go up anyway - I'll need Narna to hold the beers while I take the pic...

I've got one on the wall behind my chair in the office (which is commented on all the time by vistors), the MIL has one in her cottage (instead of the Cliff Richard one she had last year!) and my youngest lad has one on his bedroom wall.

I will be looking to send some decent piccies over from the Highland Raid.

I also agree that if we can get them out a bit earlier and also start publicising the price on the site then it will help. I have to say that I am a little amazed that at least 50 haven't been purchased by the site members.

Why Thanks. I was trying to find a decent Frettour picture as it is obviously aimed at people on here, especially those with Triumphs, and trying to capture the very essence of the trips and the cameraderie that ensues on them.
Most are just snaps and obviously could be better with more time etc. Bosun took this one, and it's better than mine

blizz, collect the images up and we can get together for a review later in the year??

Fret, would be could to get some from your trips, as they are a large part of the events and meets - not being rude, but I prefer no people? could you remember to take one of each when you stop for shots - with and without people?

I am working with a graphic designer now, so will tap him up for a cool layout and design, and he can tweak image quality too.

Not to be rude to martin too, but Ive been throwing loads of work at a local printer too, and he might do the lot for feck all, so I will try and squeeze him.

Have we got enough members from around the world to have a different Country for each month?

I think that would be really good, as it would include the whole "family" rather than be just UK centered.

It would be brilliant to have pictures of owners with their Triumphs in the middle of their city, town, village or whatever.

AB - as I understand it many members of T595.net only recognise the UK as a single entity. Therefore let's not give succour to those that wish to make enemies of each of us.

Sorry, I don't mean to politicise it (and I know it was only said in jest ) but my idea was to celebrate the diversity and strength of the Triumph brotherhood around the World

Yes, but I think we may have trouble getting 12 different countries piccis up if we don't include our locally conquered cousins.

Why not put all the country pictures in one Month. Would help to show unity and friendship across borders.

That could be December Doobs - all coming together at last in unity!!

AB - We have UK, Ireland, Denmark, Holland, Canada, US, Australia, New Zealand, Iceland, Spain, France, Belguim and Germany contributers on here regularly. That's 13 for starters, so it looks to me as though we would have to potentially split it into groups, so we could have:

North America inc.Canada
Australasia and New Zealand
UK & Ireland
Scandinavia
The Low Countries
Western Europe
Eastern Europe

I'm sure input from one or two individuals from each area could make this work.

That's what I had in mind Blizz - a small gallery for each Country would be fantastic.

And let's face it Guys - the more that are featured, the more likely those individuals are to part with their £'s, $'s and Euro's!!

We generally only use our own pictures taken of our bikes, not any publicity photo's from Triumph or wherever (which probably have copyright on them anyway).

Pay up and get one of this years calenders and you'll see what I mean!!

i didn't read all 12,000 responses to this, but why not see if Triumph might endorse/ditribute through the dealer network? shoot them a copy of it after it leaves the cutting room and see what they say.

Im still quite keen on the Hells Hole sign.....

and the concept of the Phantom Black bike next to the Phantom Jet..... Pity about the wire fence...... although its a bonus that the guys with guns on the gate round the corner didnt see me.

I do like the January ones with the huge windmills in the sea..... and still have the frostbite.....

Its amazing what you can do with MSs free Photo Editor. It can produce some weird lurid hues and effects. To hide the fact that most of the summer pics were taken after 8-30pm and sometimes up in the clouds, drizzle and midgies.......
