Im considering getting my T595's frame powder coated! would be good too see other peoples results and hear there experiences, including stripping the bike down bare! looks like quite an interesting task!!

Can you guys post any pics you have! My bike is the traditional yellow! thinking about getting the frame and seat frame thingy done in a satin black!

Just to let you all know, I got a quote today from my local powder coaters, www.daften.co.uk and its going to cost £75!

Getting my bike back from GT Motorcycles today or tomorrow after having a new coil and alternator! Will commence stripping down fairly soon and will photo document too!

Also are there any special tools i require for the job?

The only thing I can think of that is not in a normal tool box is the TORX bits to undo the engine from the frame.

Hi just sent a tatty t595 rear subframe to be powdercoated with Redditch shotblasting, I have had stuff done before to a good standard for my classic bikes, will let you know how it turns out given that the subrame is very tatty, paint lifting etc (but has non broken pillion lugs unlike mine).
