G'day all, often look but don't post. Got a '98 tona 955i, read lots bout aftermarket bars and swapping left to right and not so comfortable ride positions, which i am suffering from being an old fart and trying to decide to best way to go. Am trying to work out if my bars are OEM or not, i'm guessing not. Can anyone say for sure, or do they look familiar, any info??? Here are some pics, as far as i can tell they are not adjustable. Any help appreciated...

They`re not OEM as Zeus has pointed out but if they`re of the same type of design as the originals then you still may possibly be able to reverse the clamps to take the weight off your wrists. Bit difficult to tell from the photos but must be worth trying I`d have thought..

i have swapped the clamps over and it does work takes a while to get used to it but worth it, looking at the pics they look as if they are adjustable so why swop just try adjusting them

your second pic down shows that it could be adjusted up and down, how are your bars are they straight or are they swept back ie slightly bent

Geordie u are right, they are adjustable both up and down and back and forward, doh!!!
Tried em in a few different positions from flat, (felt like i was riding a motard) to slightly swept back which i am trying at the moment, so far so good.
One thing that one must do is re-tighten properly, as i returned from a test ride, turning right into driveway right clip-on drops down almost hitting tank and me almost hitting head on ground, doh!!! The guys digging up the street outside my place would have had a good laugh if i had dropped her i reckon...

I just put the Rod tingate ones on mine. Must better than stock and only $145.

Not perfect however. They are a little flat for my liking, but much closer and the right height.

They look similar to Two Brother bars.. I like them.. do they have much of a rise?

If you want standard..I have a set or two as well as some race clip-ons all in mint condition..

If you want to change the angle of standard ones...Sky King do an 8 degree up-tilt set for the earlier bars which makes for less wrist ache.

Went for a 200+ k ride the other day, bars are now great. Encountered all sorts of road conditions and 5kph hair pin bends. ride position is very comfortable and absolutely no ill effects, ie: no aches or pains anywhere, i'm rapt...
