Both dates are in my diary, will sort out ride in arrangements nearer the date.

Perhaps Brooklands (third Sunday) could be an unofficial southern softies meet beyond in the first Wednesday and third Sunday programme "agreed" at Stonemasons?

That last time I rang Utan it cost me £2.80 a minute.

I have got an AWESOME red white blue and gold Ape, though.

(Almost made it to your gaff the other day, ST, but the roads were so greasy and salty and I had so many 'moments' that I turned back just after Petworth. All this sunshine is superb, but the riding, alas, is dangerous at the moment.)

A few iterations? LOL... If the merry band of top Southern Squadron meetsters mirror previous performances, I think we can legitimately plagiarise that famous announcement made over Waterloo Station's train service tannoy here, and say:

"Please mind the gap between the timetable and reality..."

Following his ride on the test mule, he was no doubt busy having lust-filled dreams about the gold-bronzed miracle of engineering that contains the awesome power of the Ape...

He knows he wants to - it's just a question of time...

Pah! I shall resist your fuel-tile jibes!

And it's nowhere near as thirsty as you imagine.

I got 84 miles to 15 litres the other week...
