I wear the black ones to work as it saves me having to change when I get there. After a year, I bought a new pair. They are comfy and warm. I've never tested them either.

they're okay but see if you can try before you buy. I mail ordered them and they're a bit tight in the crotch area when crouched over

Bought the black denim ones last summer together with knee armour that velcro's in place. Found them very comfortable, thankfully they haven't been crash tested! Do need to take care with washing temp / drying instructions.

Tend to inflate a bit - Oh you mean from the outside, OK ish but I've got little legs that tuck in behind my fairing.

the original 'Dragging Jeans' are denim, with large areas of kevlar patched in .... so not really windproof, but |I've never had a problem - but then again I am a SORN wimp ...

They're more windproof than jeans but less than leathers

I got a pair of the Black Cargo's in 2006 before a trip to Le Mans - I've only worn my leathers once since. Last time I washed them I put some Nikwax in the wash to help waterproof them, but they'll never be totally waterproof of course. WINDPROOF? For a mild or warm day they are as windproof as you'd want them to be. If it's going to be colder then I put on my longjohns underneath and they're great. On longer journeys I wear strap on Knox Armour knee protection. I love 'em and will be getting another pair this year. They are perfect for a Speed Triple especially with a quality textile jacket.

the addition of an S is hardly artistic - and I strongly resemble that remark

Check this if you're after a good pair of jeans! Don't know if they are as comfortable as Draggins due to thicker material used, also a bit pricey but the video speaks for itself!!! Might be cheaper to buy them in France (can't find any retailer around Lille or Calais though!) http://www.esquad.fr/film.....n=en&clip=1

Triple Sec - have you seen any of these? Impressive videos - Reckon they are made with interwoven Kevlar?

I've seen these at the Paris show end of last year. Very good quality but must be tried on as the material is quite thick. They're made from Armalith which is claimed to be “the most resistant of all textiles” and is blend of cotton and high-tech fiber. The website doesn’t disclose the “high-tech fiber,” but the tag inside the jeans says its polyethylene -- yep, plastic. Probably an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (known as UHMWPE) that is so strong and elastic it has replaced Kevlar in bulletproof vests. I had a chat with the main guy and it seems they have now signed a contract with Ducati so you'll probaly find these soon in the UK but stamped "Ducati" and even more expensive (i guess ...)

Been wearing draggin jeans for last couple of years. Great things but make sure that you (or whoever knows how the washing machine works) do not use any fabric conditioner when they are washed. I was sliding all over the bike and I couldn't grip the tank with my knees. Serves me right for washing them I suppose!

Best pear of trousers ive ever bought, bit long though but ideal for on the bike as it compensate for riding up, really comfy too. dont like the pads they supply with them though more thought required on that score if you ask me.

ive got a pair of jeans and a pair of cargos and i only wear then now not wore leathers for 2 years, the denims come up very small, consider going at least one size up from what you think you are...cargos are more realistici just carry around some lined waterproofs for extra warmth and dryness...ive also bought a pair of Triumphs own brand and they are lovely....not as much kevlar as the draggin ones but a better cut....and you need to try a pair a size SMALLER than you think you are, which is nice...

Guess that is the biggest downside to the Draggin Jeans - I have hardly worn my pricey Furygan leather jeans (guess I can't say they cost an arm & a leg!) much at all since I got the Draggin ones...

I've got a pair of Draggin's and a pair of Shift denim jeans, the Draggins are far the best, better fit, more kevlar protection and better looking than the shift ones. Never tested them in anger, although a guy from my local bike group came off yesterday Textille jacket, draggin jeans, shoei helmet, rossi boots and kevlar gloves. Everything worked, just bruised body and a very soon to be bruised insurance policy.
