Chris
John is correct...but it was Shetland not Orkney. I'm now back in Aberdeen full time. Considering the amount of Triumphs that there are in Aberdeen there's only about half a dozen of us on here. Are in town or out of it?

I'm a foreigner down here in wet woolly Wales - with a family name of Bruce & once living (albeit briefly) on Skye I was exercising my roots - typical Scots hospitality

i sold my st on saturday and picked up a bmw r1200s from dundee. brilliant bike...is got a load of extras including the sports suspension pack. came home via glenshee, braemar ballater etc. a mile from home i highsided it (havent a clue what happened) and ended up in a&e for a night . got severe concussion, a broken collarbone and 4 cracked ribs. its fucking painful just breathing. bike is't too bad tho.....mainly light cosmetic damage. doc says i'll be out of action for about 6 weeks.

Get well soon there Grant! To begin with I thought your meant one of the big fully faired tourers, you cant fling those great big boats around the bends very easily! But no you have an R1200S. Never seen one close to. Looks very nifty for a BMW. And 120hp from a twin.. http://www.kanai.net/webl.....11/16/18h26m17s
