JUst had my connectors done here in Aussie.... on my 99 model 955i. Got the dealer to check what was outstanding and they replaced a couple of things and upgraded the mem map. Thought I'd get them to service it while were at it.. BUT went from $350 bucks to $700 as it had a starting issue and they said the main wiring harness was burnt. Problem is when I picked the bike up after they had it for 3 weeks it had a dead battery (2 week old battery killed by them) and now the neutral light is intemittent and I can only start AND run the bike with the stand up. Jeez...and I paid these cowboys for this?

Ooopppps, been a while since I checked this post!!!
Northside mortor cycles on Pacific Hwy. sydney. They had to jumper start the bike so I could get home on it. But can't complain about their service as there wasn't any. Seems like"Stiff Sh&T" is classed as optimum customer service. Some companies are a bit slow to realise that with the internet reputations get trashed by this lack of professional approach.
I reckon I've wasted enough time on them so from now on I will do the work myself. Hey, experts built the Titanic and amatuers Noahs Ark.......If I get stuck I''ll go to people like Ben Shaw of Extreme Creations or the guys at Motorcycle Weaponary at Mona Vale.

Blizzard:
Just used your link and it came up with :
There ARE outstanding service bulletins or recalls on your bike.
Please contact your nearest dealer WITHOUT DELAY to have your bike upgraded or modified at no cost to you.

Assuming it's not service intervals, anyone any idea what it might be? Its a 1997 T595 Daytona, I'll call in the dealers this week.
Thanks

http://www.vosa.gov.uk/vo.....lls/default.asp
Was on here a while ago dunno where its at now tho
If you do a search it should tell you what the recalls were on your model although it wont tell you if they are outstanding on your particular bike. (hope that makes sense!!!)

Yes, the manager (Kev) checked - he blamed me for bringing the Bike back from Canada (Bollox) - I transferred it properly from one dealer to another for warranty work!!!

"Ah, yes it's the fuel fittings" - he said!
"You did them" - "Um, yes - we didn't load it into Triumphs computer!!!!"

"Your Problem - solve it!!"

Thanks, Blizzard.

Went to that site, entered my VIN and I was told there were NO recalls for my own particular "significant other".

Are the any ZERK fittings so I can easily keep it greasy ?
