The sport has stiffer suspension, a black engine with I believe more power (SANDY will confirm) twin front discs and different exhaust system

IMO the Sport is the better bike unless you're weird and like polishing chrome

What Paul said TB 69bhp TBS 82 bhp twin discs, hotter cams, 17" wheels, flat bars much better bike but then its built to do a different job..... see profile pics under "Thunderbirds are go"

Actually I think the cams are the same, but the T'bird has some kind of restriction in the inlet tract - possibly reduced internal diameter in the rubbers that connect carbs to cylinder head.
And the TBS front end came from the T309 speed triple so is fully adjustable and has twin brake discs.

Yes, this is a Classic section thread. But as above. Bit sportier within the 'retro' bike market an less cruiser-like. So another plus point!!
