t509 just fixed gearbox put engine back into frame running perfect before I stripped gearbox,checked hoses for splits and throttle cable fine had battery diconnected and recharged.all hoses connected back to airbox all plugs back on,has something got to be reset

I'd take the airbox off and check the butterflies are closing properly for starters....

checked iacv but it is connected/throttle cable fine still 6000rpm starts off at 1500rpm for about 5seconds then rises up to 6000rpm

ok, its one of a few possibilities; either the idle air valve is stuck open (or failed entirely), or the hoses are split wide open, or the throttle butterflies are not closing completely one way or another, the engine is getting too much air when it should be metered down so it will idle correctly. and no tony, a bad (or badly adjusted) tps would just rich out or lean out an idling engine.. its getting too much air

Sorted iacv gave it a couple of taps with a screwdriver thanks CERBERUS
