managed to scratch a nice hole in the outer header pipe last night . After fitting new suspension & weeks of adjustment i've got her cornering sweet as on lefts but sometimes touches down on rights. Anyone got a solution other than raising her back up, different headers or system i'll weld her up for now ready for the b/holl..

You answered your own question there bud you have lowered the the bike to much at the front lift back up again, or the bill could be a big one for plastics pc

I only lowered her 5mm on the front & fitted an 03' Tona rear shock which pushed the arse up a bit..

get them changed quick (speaks one who was in denial about header touch down problems) otherwise it'll hurt (both the pocket and physically).

Yup, two (or was it three...?) both on the track though.

I found when fitting a pair bridgestone 002 tyres, the rear being a 190/55. This transformed the steering & would hold the corner much tighter. The only worry would be the type of hugger that is fitted, my original carbon hugger used a thick support bracket, when the tyre expanded it left a nice grove in my tyre (bracket thrown on bench).

I didn't realise they were so dangerous, how did they get round the problem with the later 955's? I'll push the forks back to standard but i'm keeping the '03 as it transformed the bike - has anyone got some spare crash bungs..

Dink: I only lowered her 5mm on the front & fitted an 03' Tona rear shock which pushed the arse up a bit.. | IMHO that's way too much for road use. To up the ride height at the rear AND drop the front 5mm would make it prone to headshaking and give that awful front tucking under feeling on slow corners. It's normally an either or.....either drop the front or raise the back but not both.
